Who We Are
Dr. Sam Daher is a Montréal native and a graduate of McGill University (Dentistry degree, DDS), as well as the Université de Montréal (Specialty degree, M.Sc in Orthodontics). He is fluent in both French and English.
Dr. Daher started his professional dental career in Ottawa, where he owned and operated a very successful dentistry practice for nine years. He is a former clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the Universitié de Montréal, where he taught orthodontics. His involvement in teaching continues, through his participation in various study clubs and his mentoring of many dentists in the local community through educational seminars and interactive lectures. He is also a member of the "Invisalign Clinical Studies Network," a group of elite doctors around the world who do clinical research on new Invisalign techniques and materials.
What We Do
Our Vancouver dental practice is not limited to Invisalign®, but to esthetic orthodontics! We specialize in the latest technologies, including the Invisalign® system of clear, removable trays that are worn to straighten the teeth, clear ceramic braces, and the latest in computer technology and imaging.
Fresh Smile Orthodontics provides patients of all ages with beautiful smiles and white teeth through Vancouver cosmetic dentistry procedures and modern orthodontics. Both children and adults can benefit from orthodontic treatment. The Canadian and American Association of Orthodontists recommend that children have their first visit to the orthodontist at age seven.
We recognize that many adults want straight teeth but don't want to commit to traditional braces. That's why we offer several esthetically pleasing alternatives to metal braces. While orthodontic treatment takes slightly longer in adults, it can provide great results for people well into their retirement!
Our two state-of-the-art dental offices are located in downtown Vancouver and in Ambleside, in the heart of West Vancouver. Extensive experience in the field or orthodontics and cutting-edge dental technologies are only part of our continued success.
