What We Do
Acupuncture
The acupuncturist places extremely fine, sterile, disposable needles at specific points on the body's energetic pathways, known as meridians. These needles stimulate your body's own electrical energy (Qi) to bring your body's systems back to balance.
Moxibustion
The dried leaves of the herbal moxa, are made into strip and burned along the meridians over the skin.Moxibustion is particularly effective in the treatment of arthritis, asthma, and chromic fatigue syndrome. It is also used to boost one's immune system, and to increase circulation.
Pediatric Tuina
Finger pressure is used to stimulate the acupoints and meridians on the left palm and arm of infants. Pressure on specific combinations of acupoints help open and balance energy pathways that have been restricted thus promoting the flow of Qi and blood in the meridians and its collaterals.
Herbal Therapy
Herbal preparations come in the forms of tea, powder, or pills. These herbal formulas are carefully prepared from plants, tree branches, leaves, flowers, seeds, or vegetables and are designed to treat specific health problems or correct imbalances in the body.
